Privacy Policy

Version 1.2, effective 25 October 2026. This document is provided in English.

1. Controller

The controller of personal data processed on concertrider.com is Contexxt Eu Sergey Volosevich, ul. Śniadeckich 9 lok. 12, 61-806 Poznań, Poland, NIP 9721315307, REGON 388351724. Contact: hello@concertrider.com.

2. What we process and why

Server logs. When you open a page, our server records your IP address, the address of the page, the time, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. We use logs to keep the site running and secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for up to 5 weeks.

Approximate location. To show concerts near you, the site estimates your country and city from your IP address (MaxMind GeoLite2 database on our own server). The estimate is used only to build the page you are viewing and is not stored. If you click “This is my city”, the chosen city is saved in a cookie in your browser (see section 3).

Statistics. We count visits with Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool that runs on our own server and does not use cookies or cross-site identifiers. It stores the page address, referrer, browser, device type, country and an anonymised visitor hash that changes over time. Statistics are kept for 25 months (legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used).

Google Analytics and advertising signals (only with consent). The site loads Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd). Until you agree in the cookie banner, Google Analytics and Google advertising features are switched off (Google Consent Mode): no Google cookies are set and only cookieless pings without identifiers are sent. If you accept “Statistics”, Google Analytics measures visits with cookies; if you accept “Marketing”, Google advertising signals are used to measure our partner links. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google may process data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We keep a record of your cookie choice (date, choice, shortened IP address, browser) for 6 years as proof of consent.

Concert alerts. If you ask to be notified when an artist announces a concert near your city, we store your e-mail address, the artist, the city, your language, and the IP address and time of the request and of your confirmation (proof of consent). We send a confirmation e-mail first; the alert starts only after you confirm (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We then write only when there is a new date near the chosen city. You can unsubscribe with one click in every e-mail. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 30 days; after you unsubscribe, the data is deleted within 30 days.

3. Cookies

Necessary (no consent needed):

Statistics (only with consent): _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, 2 years).

Marketing (only with consent): Google advertising cookies set by Google tags, if any are configured.

4. Ticket links

ConcertRider does not sell tickets. “Tickets” buttons lead to ticket sellers (mainly Ticketmaster), often through the affiliate network Impact. When you follow such a link, you leave our site and the seller and Impact process your data under their own privacy policies, including cookies that attribute a purchase to us. We do not receive your personal or payment data, only aggregated information about sales.

5. Recipients and hosting

The site and e-mail run on servers of Contabo GmbH (data centre in the European Union). The domain is registered with Porkbun LLC, which also provides its DNS. Alert e-mails are sent from our own server. We do not sell personal data.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to data portability. Write to hello@concertrider.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa), or with the authority in your country.
